New Shades of Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick: Piccadilly Pink and As You Want Victoria

Any new offering from Rimmel gets me excited. I love the brand and I love all things British! Needless to say that when I saw the display for a few new shades of Rimmel’s Moisture Renew Lipstick for summer, I had to pick some up to try.

I find the moisture renew formula to be pretty decent. I wouldn’t say they are super moisturizing lipsticks, but they do not suck extra moisture from my lips. They tend to apply smoothly and last about 3 hours on me.

The packaging on these almost screams ‘drugstore makeup’ with the holographic purple/blue case, but I can handle it for $5. I’m more interested in the color because wear time can always be increased with a good quality lip primer like Urban Decay’s.

From the display I chose the gorgeous dusty pink aptly named “Piccadilly Pink” and a fuchsia/red named “As You Want Victoria”.
If you know me at all, you know I am a sucker for names. I think the above example shows that.

Piccadilly Pink is the swatch on top and I love this shade. It is a nice neutral pink with rose gold shimmer and is simply stunning, but also wearable for everyday.

As You Want Victoria demands attention. The formula on this is a bit thicker, but it goes on much more opaque and is a pretty cool-toned bright pink with a hint of red.

I can see Piccadilly Pink becoming an everyday lipstick for me. It is so flattering and low-maintenance!

As You Want Victoria is much brighter, but very pretty and works well for a fun going-out lip or as a swap for your favorite red to mix it up a bit.

I loved this mini-collection and you can still find it at drugstores and Ulta’s. They have some neutrals and a red, so hurry before they are all gone!

Panda Approved.

  1. I really want Piccadilly Pink… but I may as well wait until I get to England… it might be cheaper there. Or maybe not.
